2016 $pring for $eniors Auction & Dinner

Our biggest fundraiser of the year and it was a wonderful success. Thank you everyone who participated, by attending, sponsoring, donating, and volunteering. You are amazing and the reason we are here. Excitement was in the air as auction guests bid on over 300 fantastic auction items from local restaurants and delightful themed baskets to theater tickets and 12 day cruises around the world. We had unique antiques and beautiful works of art and more! Hilliard's Beer and Old Ballard Liquor Co.'s Martini Bar were extremely popular, and the Auction Games were great fun!

$pring for $eniors Auction & Dinner

For 43 years Ballard NW Senior Center has provided outstanding programs and services to over 100,000 individuals. All auction proceeds go to support the programs and services of the Ballard NW Senior Center, which serves the needs of more than 4,000 seniors and their families in the Seattle area each year. The Center is a home away from home for many including hundreds of volunteers from every walk of life and every age from 5 to 95, who have become active in their communities.This is our main fundraiser for the year, and there are several ways you can get involved.


Join us at the beautiful Leif Erickson hall, where every year in March more than 200 community leaders and business owners come together for the $pring For $eniors Auction. The 23rd Annual $pring for $eniors Dinner Auction is Sunday, April 3rd. We are delighted you are going to be a part of this wonderful night. Our Annual Auction includes a live auction, three silent auctions, dinner, and more. There will be an amazing array of items to bid on. Please bid often and give generously, without your support, we wouldn't be here! Enjoy this evening of delicious food, beverages, games, and fun!

Host A Table

Our annual auction is here. It is time to make up your tables. Each table has 8 to 12 auction attendees. Contact your family, friends, co-workers, and business associates to fill up a table. Remember the more people who sit at your table the better your table does in the Dessert Dash! Call Kristina at 206-297-0403 or email her at KristinaW@SoundGenerations.org for more information.

Donate New Items/Gift Certificates

This is the main fundraiser for the Center, so all donations are vital and important, and several opportunities are available. Donate new items and gift certificates to your favorite places and activities for our silent and live auctions. Item pickup is available. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for the programs and services of the center. Donate for Funds/Supplies
If you are unable to donate an actual item, cash is a great option so the committee can buy needed things to go in baskets or to complete another item. Event supplies are also very welcome. We are very impressed with the commitment and generosity of the volunteers that work to make this evening a success. The Ballard NW Senior Center has 4,000 attendees, 500 volunteers, and only 5 staff members each year. Volunteers make everything possible. First Time Volunteers: Fill out this form here to get started volunteering. The form only takes a few minutes to fill out. All volunteers receive a background check, and then will be contacted by email if listed on the application or phone if not.
