History is a powerful subject. Knowing the past allows you to understand the present. Join this interesting group of people and enjoy discussing and learning together. Each book is chosen by the group and discussed at the next meeting. The book for October is “Dark Sky Rising: The Reconstruction and Dawn of Jim Crow” by Henry Louis Gates Jr.
