Build strength and flexibility while seated. Shoes are okay to wear. Chairs are used for stability and as a balance aid.

Qi means “energy” and Gong means “to work with” so simply put Qi Gong means working with the body’s energy. The Spring Forest Qi Gong fitness classes have been developed to be easy and beneficial to practitioners. Similar to Tai Chi, Qi Gong focuses on body posture, movement, breathing, and meditation.

Wednesdays (moderate pace 3 miles per hour), 2:00-3:00pm ……… Free
Participants must be independent with balance and have a steady gait. Please no wheeled walkers or canes. Please contact the Center 0n 206-297-0403 if you have questions. Meet friends while maintaining your health and independence. Meet outside in front of the Center and walk on the Burke-Gilman Trail. Flat surface and gentle or moderate pace. Rain or Shine!

Approved Kaiser Permanente members can qualify for no fee. Build fitness through cardio workouts, including light weight lifting.
Build strength, balance, and flexibility with traditional yoga poses. Shoes are okay to wear. A yoga mat is required to participate..

All levels welcome. Improve your hand-eye coordination in a friendly game and meet new people. Popular all over the world!
