At this time, most of the fitness classes are suspended. However, we are currently offering virtual fitness classes starting in March. Please check below to see which classes are currently active.

CHAIR YOGA FOR PARKINSON’S Instructor: Leo
Free for Parkinson’s participants – otherwise $5 Member/$10 Non-Member
Starting March 9th, every Tuesday and Thursday 1:00-1:45 p.m. Build strength and flexibility while seated. Shoes are okay to wear. Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes. Chairs are used for stability and as a balance aid but chair should be sturdy (preferably without arms or wheels). This class is open to anyone interested!
LIVE ONLINE QI GONG FOR HEALTH CLASSES (Virtual) Instructor: Terry Tuesdays 9:30 – 10:30 am – Free Qi Gong is known to be effective for improving your immune and respiratory systems and reducing stress. Email Terry at firstname.lastname@example.org or all 206-999-5381 for registration details.
ENHANCE FITNESS (Virtual) – Instructor TBA – Free Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (Start date to be announced) – Free Become more active, energized, and empowered through this evidence based fitness program! Build fitness through cardio workouts, including light weight lifting. For all fitness levels.
DAILY BALANCE (Virtual) – Instructor TBA Gentle exercise that fills the enter with laughter. All who participate finish the class uplifted and energized. Come increase your balance and core stability with friends.
KAJA’S FITNESS CLASS (Virtual) Instructor: Kajsa Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 9:00 – 10:00 am Cost: $25/Month Keep fit, stay sharp, have fund, meet old & new friends. Warning: It’s addictive!
HEARTFULNESS MEDITATION (Virtual) Instructor: Kaushik Starting March 12th, Fridays 11:00-12:00 noon – Free Come experience the benefits of Heartfulness meditation through a practical session where yo will learn to relax the mind and feel the lightness and joy of your true nature. You don’t need to know how to meditate.

QI GONG FITNESS CLASSES Instructor Terry Leers – Suspended
Mondays, 1:15-2:15pm – $5 Members / $10 Non-Member
Qi means “energy” and Gong means “to work with” so simply put Qi Gong means working with the body’s energy. The Spring Forest Qi Gong fitness classes have been developed to be easy and beneficial to practitioners. Similar to Tai Chi, Qi Gong focuses on body posture, movement, breathing, and meditation.
OUTDOOR WALKING GROUPS Leader: Mark – Suspended
You need to be pre-screened prior to registering. Participants must be independent with balance and have a steady gait. May need medical clearance to participate. Participants meet outside in front of the Center and walk on the Burke-Gilman Trail. Flat surface and gentle or moderate pace. Rain or Shine!
