Trip Sign-up and Payment Policy

  • Sign up for trips at the 2nd Floor Reception Desk.
  • When you sign up for a trip you must pay a $5 non-refundable trip fee.  If the trip is $5 or less than $5, then you just pay that.
  • Final payment is due one week prior to the trip.  Final payment is the cost of the trip less the $5 deposit.  If final payment is not made, you forfeit your seat and deposit.
  • If you cancel your reservation less than one week before the trip is to depart, you forfeit your entire payment unless we can fill your space or you are canceling for certified illness.
  • If the trip is canceled, deposits and payments will be refunded.
  • Deposits, payments, and refunds are not exchangeable or interchangeable. Refunds are prepared after the trip date.

Group Trips

The Center offers a wide variety of diverse and interesting trips to nearby points of interest. The trip sign-up and payment policy is listed after the trip offerings. For all center trips carpooling is not allowed. This policy deals with safety, insurance, training, and more. Emerald Queen Casino Tues, Dec 3rd

Try your luck at the Puyallup Tribe’s Tacoma Casino. Once their renovations are done I read it’s going to be “the Vegas on I-5!” This trip may be before the big unveiling but that won’t stop us from enjoying one of our go to Casino gems!

Neighborhood Holiday Light Adventure  Mon, Dec 2  6pm – 8pm  $1 Members $2 Non-members Remember piling into the car and cruising the neighborhoods to discover the best holiday lights? Let’s load up into the van and get caught up in the joy of season! We’ll trek out into the neighborhoods exploring the holiday light displays as the season is upon us. After we get our fill, we’ll come back to the center and toast together over some yummy hot chocolate and holiday treats!

The Burke Museum’s mission gives you an idea of how great this museum is. “The Burke Museum cares for and shares natural and cultural collections so all people can learn, be inspired, generate knowledge, feel joy, and heal.” From culture to fossils and then the material world- you will find something to intrigue you. Come be intrigued among friends! Bring extra money for snack/drink at their café.

Gift shopping is more fun with friends! Why not find a deal at the outlets? Nike, Coach, Disney Store, Clarks, Lululemon, The Cosmetic Company and so much more! Bring money to shop, eat, and to stay hydrated on this shop just before you drop trip!

A free and fabulous opportunity to learn about and participate in musical theater. Everyone’s welcome. Have you been with us from the start or just want to see what it’s all about? Sing and learn dance routines from simple to advanced. No experience necessary. This is a hugely popular group that has so much fun! Class members get free tickets to Seattle Repertory plays, potlucks, opportunities to interact with actors and participate in special theatrical plays. It’s a great opportunity!
